Accepting that a child ('aChild') has a potential learning challenge is the first step on a long, rewarding journey for the parents and the child - and sooner the better. 


When presented with the news and the options, we jumped in with both feet along with our (then) eight year old son. An assessment would gain him access to the tools need

Accepting that a child ('aChild') has a potential learning challenge is the first step on a long, rewarding journey for the parents and the child - and sooner the better. 


When presented with the news and the options, we jumped in with both feet along with our (then) eight year old son. An assessment would gain him access to the tools needed to be the best and brightest he could be. 


He was fortunate as we could fund the assessment - and with the IEP modifying or accommodating the curriculum to his unique learning needs, it was in place for the following school year.

Over the last six years working with his school, resource teachers, and personal research, we discovered that there were literally thousands of children that are on the Ontario provincial waiting list to get an assessment (as I've attempted to share via the website).

Over the last six years working with his school, resource teachers, and personal research, we discovered that there were literally thousands of children that are on the Ontario provincial waiting list to get an assessment (as I've attempted to share via the website). 


Parental acceptance of the need for the assessment is, as mentioned, just the first step.  Paying for one is the second step - and an expensive one at that.


Those that want help for their children and are on the provincial waiting list are in a holding pattern for years, falling school grades further behind educationally.

In personally seeing the benefit of early diagnosis, the impact on our son's scholastic success is immeasurable as he now heads charges ahead in Grade 10.  


Every $2,500 assessment can have a dramatic, life-long impact on the scholastic, social and future independence of every child we can fund an assessment for, resulting in:

all Children have individual learning demands - we just need to fund the key to unlock the resources to make their futures the brightest all children deserve to have!
